WHAT’S NEW AT THE DRC?

What’s Happening:  Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful holiday. Contact Info: Phone:  250-474-9822; Email: drc@sd62.bc.ca Dale Morrison, Teacher/Librarian, is at the DRC the following times: 

Monday 2:30-4:15 pm

Tuesday 1:00-4:15 pm

Wednesday 2:30-4:15 pm

Thursday 1:00-4:15 pm

 

Trudy Court, Library Assistant, is at the DRC M-F, 8-11 am.

If you have transferred to a new school, please send us an email with your changed info.  We won’t know know what school you’re teaching in until you tell us!

You may notice that the DRC is staying open until 4:15 Mon.-Thurs.  This will hopefully allow the Milnes Landing teachers to visit and use the DRC more often.

 

 New Resources

  1. Two new literature circle novels for gr. 8-12 by Shelley Hrdlitschka.  Sister Wife, (LCN HRD) and Kat’s Fall.(LCN HRD KAT)  Both books would be excellent for discussions.
  2. Strong Readers Set #2. This excellent resource for early readers contains books from #11-20. 40 books in all. (FN ER STR.1)
  3. Seven The Series Teacher’s Guide NSU0076.  This is to accompany the popular set of books. 
  4. MacBeth the Graphic Novel (LCN SHA MAC) set of 6.
